Many people ask me about different language-versions of the Blender Secrets E-Book.

Unfortunately, because it is already a full-time job just to do this in one language, this is not possible. Even if the book is translated one time to another language, it is always being updated so that work would never end. It's too much work for one person.

However, here is what is possible:

Video subtitles

You can add subtitles in the language of your choice by yourself. Here are the steps:

1) When you click on a topic title, you will go to the relevant YouTube video.

2) Click on the gear-icon ⚙️ and then Subtitles/CC. Then, choose Auto-translate.

3) Choose the language you want from the list.

Now, you can see the subtitles in the language of your choosing. They will remain there, for everybody else who needs them as well. Thank you, on their behalf!

E-Book translation

Similarly, you can translate the E-Book in a language of your choosing. This only works with individual chapters, as the entire E-Book is too big.

How it works:

1) Underneath each topic's PDF reader, you see a download link. Click on that, to download that topic's PDF.

2) Then, go to Google Translate and click on Documents.

3) You need to set the original language (on the left) to English. Then set your language on the right.

4) Click on Browse your files and find the PDF you downloaded.

5) Click on Translate.

6) Click on Download translation.

Now you have a PDF in the language of your choice. Keep in mind, that this is done with machine learning by Google, and that the results may vary. Also, it does not take the images into account, only the text.
